Jacquie O'Neill
Artist Illustrator based in Cornwall, England
For nearly 25 years, I’ve worked as an illustrator, collaborating with an incredible range of clients across advertising, editorial, publishing, and packaging. It was an inspiring chapter filled with creativity, deadlines, and big‑name projects… but that feels like a lifetime ago.
Over time, something quieter and more personal has called me.
A new version of my creative self has unfolded, one that’s rooted in nature, spirit, and feminine energy. These days, my work has shifted from the fast pace of commercial illustration to a slower, more intentional rhythm.
Trees, landforms, and shifting seasons are recurring points of reference for me, alongside mythology and the feminine. My work responds to the emotional experience of being in nature and its capacity to hold us through our life stages.
My practice is all about creating slow, intentional art from the wild.
If you’d like to see glimpses of my daily studio life, experiments with pigment, and works in progress, Instagram is my happy place.
