Kith & Kin

A body of work exploring why profound loss draws you back to nature!

Since my Mum and Dad passed in 2024 I've felt a strong pull back to the land. This returning has shaped the work I want to make.

Kith and Kin - two separate words, always woven together:

Kith, our relationship with the place where we dwell, the land we know not by map or guide, but by heart.

Kin, our close family, our ancestors, the bloodlines that run through our veins.

When we loose our kin, why is it that we are so comforted by kith?
